Main deity is the Bhagwan Vishnu, was built in 1235 CE by the Hoysala King Vira Someshwara. Temple has 3 shrines, the sanctum of which contain images of Bhagwan Vishnu as Venugopala, Keshava and Lakshminarasimha.
